Bringing After-Death Care Back Home

A generation ago the baby boomers brought back home births. Recently there has been a resurgence in bringing end-of-life and after-death care back home.

Safe, legal, ecological, and inexpensive, caring for a loved one’s body after death at home offers a meaningful alternative to conventional mortuary services.

Home-based deathcare allows family and friends to say good-bye to their loved one in a more familiar and natural setting, and in their own way and time.  Slowing down the process allows all involved to absorb the loss at their own pace.

Caring for a loved one after death can be a profound final expression of love.
